 Green Master Plan

Garza students concieved, researched, wrote and implimented a Green Master Plan.  In doing the research to produce this master plan, the students in Garza SOL connected economics, government, social studies research skills and energy and environmental technology.  Through the hands on, experiential process, students learned that there most definately was a connection between what they were learning and our environment.  This process started in the summer of 2009 and continues today.  Thus far, we have implemented water saving measures in the installation of rainwater collectors, a schoolwide recycling program and the building of the outdoor classroom.  IT CONTINUES!!!!!
