At Wakeland High School, efforts are made to preserve energy and save money.  The principal of the campus receives energy audits on a monthly basis and can relay the information to the teachers and staff members.  Teachers and staff can make adjustments by not plugging in excess lights, air fresheners, or electrical appliances, this sets a great example for the student body on the importance of conserving energy.
