Recycling inspiring Composting!

Our recycling program has flurished.  If we happen to have a day off from school on recycling day, they will be sure to let students know that their boxes need to be emptied the following day.  Students spend about 15 to 20 minuets once a week picking up everyone's boxes.  Students recycling have gone around the campus looking for hot spots (looking for littering) and have placed a recycling bin in that place.  Recycling paper has sparked an interest in recycling fruits and vegetables. They started a composting program in our school and wrote a play to introduce the idea to the student body.  The idea was if we can do this with paper, can we do this with vegetables?
