Go a Little Wild- It's Wilderness Day!

Our student head for day, Gatlin Shore, decided to provide a fun-filled day helping students appreciate the nature all around them! Students and faculty dressed up as park rangers, fisherman, and other outdoorsmen.  We took pictures, videos, and collected supplies for an organization called For The Love Of The Lake, a local non-profit Volunteer group working to preserve and enhance White Rock lake park. Everyone enjoyed outdoor activities, games and a petting zoo and faculty used took the opportunity to teach conservation, biology, ecology, health and a respect for nature.
