Green Platinum Classrooms

Learning Gate has embarked on a journey to Build Green and demonstrate the benefits of sustainable living. Our classrooms received the first Platinum Designation by the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Schools program for a Public School in the nation.

Our curriculum pairs classroom lessons with hands-on environmental learning, integrating the sustainable features of green design, recycled content, energy efficiency, water conservation, and non-toxic materials. The recycled content in the building systems and components, including carpet tiles made from 88% used soda bottles, are incorporated into lesson plans and teach students to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
