All students have access to gardens

This year, for the second year in a row, a community volunteer who is also a parent of a student comes to our school during post-lunch recess, ensuring that all plots are in use and that any student who wants to spend that recess time in the garden. His dedication was so strong last school year that the 6th grade gift was a greenhouse for the garden. PTA volunteers assembled the greenhouse in the fall during our now annual garden prep day.
