Read, Deed and Run is an exciting, all-encompassing program for the WHOLE child. Fourth and fifth grade students who participate in this program commit to reading 26 books, performing 26 hours of deeds in the community, and running a total of 26.2 miles. Each week, the RDR participants will meet to discuss books, deeds, stretching, and nutrition. They will also run one mile per week under the supervision of JWE Faculty and Administrators. The program will culminate in May with students running their final 1.2 miles in a "race" to earn their Finisher's t-shirt and medal. Seventy-six students participated in Read Deed & Run at James Williams Elementary school this year.
