It can get a bit stenchful when we forget to empty the contents of our recycled beverage containers, especially if they contain dairy!!!
5th grade Junior Girl Scouts collect the recycling bags to take home to sort.
The whole Wyatt community was invited to participate in the Reimagine Recycling contest. For each 1000 containers recycled, the school gets $100 in school supplies. Wyatt recycled over 4000 containers over a two-month span. Top school in the Plano area! They earned $400 in school supplies from Office Depot.
Posters in the cafeteria remind students to recycle their aluminum cans and #1 plastic bottle containers.
