Game Designers of Grocery Wars:

Sebastain "The Tomato Man", Bryce "The Potato King", and Joseph "The Pineapple Side Kick" (notice the HEALTHY nicknames, they really care about your food choices!) 

 

Goal of Grocery Wars:

Defeat the evil forces of unhealthiness and beat Darth Pizza before its too late.

 

Game Directions for Grocery Wars:

 

Use the arrow keys to move around and the space button to shoot the enemy foods. Get around obstacles in order to win levels.

 

 

 

 Summary of Grocery Wars:

 

You have just been chosen to fight the evil forces of unhealthiness. In order to do so, you have to learn the ways of healthiness. You have to learn these ways in order to finally take down Darth Pizza. 

 

The Lesson you will learn after playing Grocery Wars:

 

Eat healthy foods and do not let unhealthy foods be your primary food source or else you will have to suffer the consequences of making bad food choices.

Let the food battle begin and remember to choose those healthy options!  We battled it out leaving behind the pizza and high carb options.  Instead we choose fresh fruits!

Fun Fruit Facts:

1.  Fruit has NO cholesterol.

2.  Strawberries are the only fruit that has their seeds on the outside not the inside.

3.  There are 7,ooo different types of apples in the world.

4.  Banana plants can grow an inch or more at night while you sleep!

5.  Pineapples are berries, just like strawberries and blueberries.

6.  Pumpkins are a fruit, it is originally a Greek term for large melon.

7.  Raspberries contain antioxidants that can reduce your chances of getting cancer.

8.  Bananas are loaded with potassium which helps keep your blood pressure at a healthy     level.

9.  Eating five servings of fruit and vegetables everyday is a great way to stay healthy and strong.

10. Dried fruits are as nutriuos as fresh fruits.

11. Try using fruit juice or applesauce in your next cake recipe to reduce the fats.

12.  Fruit juice is healthy but does not contain fiber.  Only whole fruits conatin fiber which is very good for you.

13. Fruit can be added to a salad to add more flavor and more nutrition.

14. Bilberries, cousins to blueberries, are purported to help improve nighttime vision.

15. Fruits with lots of vitamin C, like oranges, help heals cuts and abrasions.  They will also make your teeth nice and strong.
