For the last four years, Billy Mitchell Elementary School has invited Sharefest, a community service organization to participate in our annual work day. Together, local residents, Mitchell teachers and administrators, students and parents gather for one day to clean-up our school campus. We work in the garden and we spend time revamping the playground and walkways. What ever is needed to spruce up our school environment, we add it to our "to do" list. Everyone has a good time working side by side for a important and badly needed purpose.
