The last four years, Billy Mitchell Elementary School has partnered with Sharefest a community support group, to join forces and spend one day in the Spring cleaning up our campus. Community volunteers, school staff and teachers, parents and students work side by side beautifying our school. The work effort includes garden maintenance, pruning and repairs. Plus, our team of helpers repaint playground equipment and safety markers on our blacktops and hallways. A huge amount of work is accomplished in one day and a perfect example of many groups of people coming together for one important endeavor.
