Arbor Day Observance

In observance of Arbor Day, one of our staff members, Ms. Belsie Pinero, gave our school a membership to the Arbor Day Foundation. The gift membership came with 10 free trees that our school desperately needs in one area of our campus. At the eastern area of our campus, where the 3rd grade students are picked up after school, there is a huge open area that is crying for a cluster of trees. The trees will be planted in that area to provide shade  and beautiful coloring in the fall. We are also planning to start a wildflower field near that area next year. The trees are scheduled to be delivered by May 31st so that we will be able to have a tree planting ceremony before the end of the school year.
