President's Fitness Challenge

Each year our students participate in the President's Fitness Challenge. This challenge helps students improve their fitness and eating habits to live happier, healthier lives.

                                                          Details of the Challenge

 

Curls ups-how many can be done in 60 seconds. Measures abdominal strength and endurance.

Shuttle run-Measures speed, quickness and agility

Endurance Run/Walk-Measures Heart/lung endurance

Push ups-Measures upper body strength and endurance

V sit-Measures flexibility of the lower back and hamstring
