The entire Timberview Campus was involved in this amazing day of charity fundraising for St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
Here is the announcement that went out to faculty and students:
Timberview Soccer Classic
“The St. Jude Classic”
- Who- Any current Timberview student, faculty, or staff member. Teams will include 4 players, and there may be a maximum of 2 adults per team. Only 3 players will play at a time, the 4th is a sub that should rotate as needed.
- What- A 3 on 3 soccer tournament to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Team entry fee ($40) is due prior to registration; please make checks payable to St. Jude’s. Games will be 15 minutes running clock. The field will be 50 yards long running sideline to sideline on our game and practice fields. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 games.
- When- Friday, May 18th
The first round of games will start at 8am. - Where- Timberview soccer field and practice field.
- Why- All money will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude’s is a great organization that does wonderful work to help treat children with cancer.
- Players will need their own equipment, snacks, drinks, and similarly matching uniforms. Timberview will provide the field, game balls, and water. There will be a snack bar open to purchase drinks and food.
- The top team will be awarded a $100 gift card to the restaurant of their choice!
It was a beautiful spring day, and our campus raised over $1000 for this worthy charity!
