Fundraiser with "Mixed Bags"

One of the parents had a fabulous idea.  We could have a fundraiser that not only raised money, but it also helped families to be aware of reducing the amount of plastic wasted with plastic shopping bags. We sold reusable bags made of recycled plastic.  The bags are very durable and stylish.  A variety of sizes and styles were available.

The fall campaign raised over $3,000 to help the 5th grade students fund their trip to Camp Kappe environmental education camp for four days.  The spring campaign raised money for the school and was also very successful.
