Butterfly Reflections

The students wrote songs, poems, and drew cartoons to reflect about what they had learned throughout the whole process.  Here are a few reflections...

 

Butterfly Song

 

Ooohhh! Hahaha you never can catch me!

 

So fast.  So smooth. So unforgettable!

 

Pollinating my way through life!

 

 

 

Chorus:  (Repeat Chorus Twice)

 

Forever. Lalala. My wings so pretty.

 

Flowers  so vibrant.  So warm, yet wet!

 

Flying so graceful, yet peaceful, la la la!

 

Egg, Larva, Pupa, Chrysalis now I’m a shining star!

 

Forever.  La la la! Ohhh!

 

 

 

My wings are so pretty! So pretty!

 

Ohhh! Pollinating, pollinating is my niche!

 

Flowers so pretty! Pollinating pretty flowers is my niche!

Butterfly Rap

Butterflies, Butterflies they fly so high,

It doesn’t even matter day or night.

I help pollinate and reproduce, so you can have a very beautiful view.

I can’t from an egg.

Smug in my bed.

Then change to a larva.

And get real big.

Form to a pupa in my chrysalis.

And when I get out

My wings will sprout.

Then I start all over again,

Continue the cycle for the rest of my life.

And that’s what I am a butterfly!

It’s the butterfly rap!  It’s the butterfly rap!
