Energy Vampire March

Fuentes Elementary participated in the winter break Vampire March starting December 16, 2011. All of our students learned about energy vampires in Eco-classes leading up to the holidays. The week before winter break student and teachers identified energy vampires in their rooms and turned off and tuned out! The HAYSCISD maintenance and operations dept. performed a vampire energy audit over the break and Fuentes was 100% clear! No vampires here! We were awarded enegy incentive prize money which we reinvested in our eco-classes by purchasing resources for our upcoming Green projects.
