Recycled 3 Vanloads of Styrofoam

PTA volunteers organized the 4th annual styrofoam recycling drive by stationing collection bins in the school lobby during the first week back from Winter Break. We made announcements prior to the holidays reminding families to save all the hard-to-recycle stryofoam from their holiday gifts. Some families save their styrofoam year-round for this recycling drive.

We took 3 vanloads of the stryfoam to a new location: HDI Plastics, which allows public drop-offs.
