All about HeART!

On February 24th, we showcased our great and talented students through a Jump Rope for Heart Performance group, as well as recorders and artwork. We fundraised for our fitness trail extension through a bake sale, where we will add our fitness stations from Nickelodeon's Big Green Help!

Our students showed off their artwork in the studio, in conjunction with the Science Fair exhibit, allowing parents to see all the learning that is taking place on our campus. Then we invited guests to the gym, where musicians performed a selection of recorder pieces, demonstrating the different levels in their "Recorder Karate" program. In addition, several students played different instruments to show off their musical talents. Finally, The Jump Rope for Heart performance group showcased their skills in a jump-rope performance piece. It was an Art and Fitness collaboration!~

Our bake sale raised $215 which will go to the installation of the trail extension. We will try to add to that building block in the fall, perhaps through an art auction and bake sale (suggested by students) so that the project is completed.
