Students in Mr. Roland's 8th grade Science Classes went outdoors and used dicotomous keys to identify the new trees on our campus - there are quite a few!  Students gained a sense of ownership from identifying which trees were on "their" campus and brainstormed ideas about how they could contribute to the health and care of these trees in the future.
