REMEMBER...These Come From Trees!

After over hearing a conversation between the head custodian and school secretary I decided my school had a problem with their paper towel usage.  Knowing I could not tackle this problem alone I recruited my advisory class for help.  I had seen the “These Come from Trees” stickers posted at other facilities and thought this would be a great way to promote paper use reduction at our school.  I ordered the stickers (made by University of Toronto) and we got started.  We placed them on all the paper towel dispensers and copy machines around school.  Sometimes it only takes a reminder to help us reduce our amount of waste.  We plan on keeping in touch with the custodians to see if there is any reduction in our paper towel usage!
