Litter Force

Negley PTA partnered with teachers to present the Texas Department of Transportation's youth litter prevention program, the Litter Force.  During both an after school presentation for all ages and K-2 class lessons in enrichment, students were presented with a a presentation and participated in activities.  Following the presentation, introducing teh Litter Force and litter education, students cleaned litter on the Negley campus and took a pledge to combat litter.  All materials were donated.  Therefore, there was no cost for this project. Two trash bags of trash and 2 bins of recycling were collected over the one week time frame.  For a link to the Litter Force program, click on the following link.
