What’s the goal?

We are going to try to reduce the amount of trash that we have at Southwst and recycle the items that can be recycled. This will allow us to see how much trash we have now so we can reduce the amount of waste we have. 

What we did:

We went all around the school and emptied out the garbage cans from anywhere that we could get into. We gave the janitors a break today so that they did not have to empty all of the trash for the day. We put all of the trash in garbage bags and weighed it to see how much trash we accumulate throughout the day. We gathered 125lbs of trash in just one day!
