Fast Food Wars

Story: A war has started because of the French fries and you are the only survivor of your tribe.  You go out to fight.  The world depends on you to destroy the evil fries that plot to destroy the world.  They have also set up a maze to stall you and a final castle and boss.

Objective: Defeat (avoid) the French fries and collect all the apples.

Audience: everyone ages 6+

Team members: William, Santiago

Health lesson: To avoid fatty, salty, and sugary foods such as French fries and candy.  Eat fruits and vegetables high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.  Exercise.  Fat is bad for you because you can get obese, which can lead to health conditions, such as diabetes. You need vitamins and minerals because a certain type of vitamin or mineral is supposed to do a special duty in our body.  There are vitamins A, C, D, E, K, 8 types of B vitamins, and the main minerals you need are: Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, and Potassium.  Without vitamins or minerals, your body can’t do that specific task, and you might get a disease.  You need antioxidants to get rid of free radicals.  For a more detailed explanation, look at the video below.
