Daily outdoor recess

Everyday (weather permitting) our students participate in daily(non-organized) free time/play time outdoors. Each morning our four preschool classes have a thiry minute scheduled recess time between 9:30-11:30 am and grades 1st-5th have recess time from 10:00-10:15 am. Students are encouraged to have a nutritious snack and to participate in physical activities at this time. Our 6-8th grade students participate in Physical Education twice a week. Students participating in our extended and afterschool programs also have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors.

In January our younger students got a brand new playground. They love rolling around on the soft turf and playing on the new playground equpment.
