Campus-wide recycling

By:

Redeemer’s Boy Scout Troop 413 and our National Honor’s Society inaugurated paper and cardboard recycling several years ago.  In 2010, students ages 4 - 8th grade in the Rainbow Room (our hands-on science and nature classroom) began collecting, sorting and recycling aluminum cans, plastics and glass.  Recycling cans are available throughout our school of 500 students and church of 2000. The older students monitor the recycling stations, and the little ones  can't wait to stomp the cans! We purchase plants and seeds for our gardens from the sale of the aluminum cans.

We can make a difference!                                          Born to smash                                 We all take turns sorting.
