Negley 5K

Negley 5K welcomed over 380 participants, 50 volunteers, and at least 200 spectators to this year’s event on March 1.  The Negley Race day included a 5K, 3K, and 1K.  Many families participated together in one or more of the three events.  A representative from US Road Running attended our event and commented with surprise at how many students participated, and how well they maintained their pace.  Additionally, the Negley 5K was the kickoff event of the Plum Creek Challenge, sponsored by Chick-fil-a and produced by Plum Creek HOA.  Community partners include:  NEO Dentistry – Title, Austin Inspect, Smith Family Chiropractic, Browning Chiropractic, Elite Bodyworks, Camp Gladiator, Little Guys Movers - setup and tear down of race and event, Lone Star Kettle Corn, Cici’s Pizza, Dojo Kyle, Greenling, OutlawCNC.com, The Jumpy Place, First Lockhart National Bank – Refueling, Kyle Animal Hospital, AIM A/C and Heating Services, Chick-fil-A, Kyle United Methodist Church, H-E-B plus! - gift cards used for water and refueling, Kyle Life - design work for shirts, Isaac for Texas, Plum Creek Veterinary Hospital, Source of Grace - design work for all flyers,Vanguard – coffee for volunteers
