Ice Sculptures

In January, Kindergarten students reviewed how heat causes change. Each student was invited to bring any size and shape of ice to school. First thing in the morning, we went outside and assembled an ice sculpture. Throughout the day, classes went out to observe the sculpture and checked the temperature outside. We drew pictures in our journal of how it looked at the beginning of the day and how it looked at the end of the day. We also wrote about the results in our science journals.
