Earth Week @ Willis Lane

For Earth Week at Willis Lane we asked each student to make an earth day pledge, writing one simple thing that they could do to help the earth. We displayed all the pledges on wall of the cafeteria.

We also promoted a "Wear Green" day to celebrate Earth Day, which many of our students chose to do.

Many grade levels integrated Earth Day into their curriculum. Above, 1st graders made an earth craft and then wrote about the importance of Earth Day.
