4th Annual Eagle Pride 5K/1mile run

Our 4th annual Ascension Catholic School Eagle Pride 5K/1mile run/walk was held on Saturday, October 5th, 2013. Moms, dads, grandparents, friends, students, pets, teachers, babies being pushed in strollers, and the principal participated in this fun and healthy event. This year our event took place right on our school campus. Each participant (over 300) recieve a cool "Eagle Pride race t-shirt and race packet with valuable health information and coupons. An awards ceremony took place after the race with some awesome prizes such as free passes to LA Fitness Gym and free registration to upcoming races.

Many awesome parents and sponsors were involved in organizing this event. Breakfast items available included bagels, fruits, juice and water. After the race Chilly Spoons Frozen Yogurt, Fias's Pizza, The Sweetack Shack were a big hit. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all.   

Pre-registration took place the week of the race.
