Project Title: Exploring Family Food Traditions
Awesome Okoy in the Phillippines
By:
by Gia, age 5 (as told to my mom, Chrissy)
My sister Drea and I took our first trip to the Philippines to spend time with our family.
We also got to taste all kinds of amazing foods and learn about our family traditions.
In the photo, I am eating Okoy.
Okoy is a deep fried shrimp cake usually dipped in vinegar as a finger food or with rice.
It's awesome!
