Honey, Where is the Honey

Negley Elementary students were introduced to a PBL unit by Jada Green, a beekeeper.  She enlisted their help in researching and discovering the cause of the decline of the bee poplulation.  Students developed questions, researched, and asked for help from scientists at Texas A&M.  Students then created presentations to be shared at our schoolwide Negley Goes Green event.  Several groups of students created documentaries to share not only with the school, but globally.  In addition, we had beekeepers, honey tastings and other events at our science night.
