Osprey Nest with Babies!

[image] Osprey Nest

This is my photo of an osprey nest. I learned that ospreys are the most common bird of prey on Captiva island. This means they eat other animals. They mostly eat fish.

I watched the mother osprey dive into the ocean to catch a fish. She brought it back to the nest for her babys to eat. I could not see them but I heard them.

I thought it was so sweet the way the mother bird kept going back to ocean and bringing fish. Someday I will have a family and bring food to my kids!
