Volleyball Play Day

5th Grade Annual Volleyball Play Day at UT

The 2016 A.I.S.D. Volleyball Play Day is Saturday, March 5th at the UT Rec Sports Center. This is an event for 5th grade students to have fun and play Volleyball in a noncompetitive way. Bryker Woods Elementary will be having one team compete. If your student is interested in playing please make sure to fill out the permission slip and turn it in to me by this Friday (Feb. 19th). Forms with more information and practice times are located in the gym and your student's teacher should have a few copies. Our numbers are going to be limited so make sure that you get your form in soon! 

5th grade students practiced an hour a day for 4 days over a two week period before Play Day.

Play Day consisted of 3 12-minute games plus a pre-game 30-minute volleyball clinic with current UT volleyball players.

Students from every AISD Elementary School competed and schools have anywhere from 1-4 teams.
