Annual All-School Picnic in Bryker Woods' Backyard

Every year Bryker Woods Elementary School hosts an All-School picnic in September promoting the great outdoors.

Behind the school, Bryker Woods has its very own "Backyard".

The picnic includes Music, Popcorn, and Cotton Candy stations.  

Families are encouraged to bring food for their family for the picnic and carry off their trash.  

Games are organized by the PTA's Health and Wellness Committee.  

Boy Scouts at Bryker Woods, with over 50 members, help set up and pick up the picnic grounds.

Attendance exceeds 50% every year!  With 399 students on campus, that is a crowd!

Also, I hope to see everyone this Friday night, Sept. 18, at the All-School Picnic. Last year’s Picnic was a special celebration of our school’s 75th birthday, so we jazzed up the traditional sack dinner gathering. The exciting news is that the cotton candy bar that the PTA provided last year was such a huge hit with the kids we decided to bring it back again this year. So bring your own dinner, and dessert will be provided!

All School Picnic!

We hope you can join us on Friday, Sept. 18, from 6-8 p.m., for our traditional All School Picnic in the BW "backyard!" This event is sponsored by our wonderful PTA, who will be serving up cotton candy and popcorn, as well as providing DJ tunes for dancing and singing along!

The forecast calls for pleasant weather--bring your blankets and favorite box dinners--hope to see you all there!
