Our solar cookers really cooked!

Using found objects, fifth grade students created solar cookers and tested the temperature of the cookers over time as part of their study of energy. This inquiry lesson builds upon student knowledge of renewable and non-renewable energy and solar power. Students then actually used their cookers to cook  (and of course, eat) their food. YUM!
