Potato Scholars

 This spring our Keepers of the Nest Garden Club participated with other REAL School Garden campuses to grow potatoes and onions.  We harvested 13 pounds of potatoes and over 20 onions to share with our local food bank. The students enjoyed seeing their vegetables grow and harvesting was extremely exciting. Many of the students expressed interest in starting vegetable beds at home.  It was our first attempt and it was very successful.
