Preventing Melanoma

Students were challenged to develop a campaign that would raise awareness in their school on the frightening statistics of melanoma and other forms of damage to the skin due to sun exposure.  The campaign was run over the course of two weeks.  Student products ranged from articles that were published in the school newspaper, professional posters that were hung in the school nurses office, t-shirts that were sold on campus, and a public service announcement that was aired on the school news.  The t-shirts were seen by a local melanoma foundation who used our shirt for their volunteers at local events and fundraisers.  All money raised was donated to the foundation.
