Kinder Classes Nature Adventure!
By:
Kindergarteners had a blast and learned a lot at Dewberry Farms this year! They spent time in a barn learning about animals and even saw one of them lay an egg! There was a wonderful farmer who showed students how to milk a cow.
The hayride was full of information and “Pawpaw” taught us all about the Christmas trees and how they grow and the honey that is unpasteurized and good for our allergies because it is local. We even rode by a creek, and if you watched closely, you might have seen a turtle looking back at you!
The students enjoyed riding on the hayride and sang songs like Old MacDonald and Bingo. Of course, there was plenty of time to play on the fort and listen to the chicken puppets sing. A wonderful time in the country was had by all who attended!
