HEB Grocery Bags for Earth Day

Golbow Elementary's 4th and 5th graders were proud artists in the stewardship of the Earth during Earth Week. Our art teacher Ms. Stout happily assisted in this project. PTA Environmental Chair, Wendy Stares, coordinated with HEB to donate their paper bags for the project. The students decorated the bags with logos like "Please Recycle Me", "Save the Earth", "Recycle this Bag". The bags were returned to HEB who used them all Earth Day to sack groceries. Thank you to HEB for allowing us this oppurtunity to reach out to people about the importance of recyling and not using plastic bags.
