Fall National Walk to School Day

By: wyatt

300 out of 620 students walked or biked to school on Wyatt's Fall National Walk to School day on October 5th.

 The notice on e-news read:

NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY

National Walk to School Day is NEXT Wednesday, October 5th.

We would love for you to join in on our National Walk to School Day. Please
leave early enough to still be at school on time (7:45). There will be teachers
at two different locations to cheer you on.

1. Kimbrough and Coit

2. Gifford and Church Parking Lot

We have encouraged students to walk in group and use crosswalks. There will
also be crossing guards at Stonehaven/Coit. We hope to see you enjoying the
cool morning and observing National Walk to School Day.

The Spring National Walk to School Day or Night was announced in the e-newsletter for March 8.  Even though it was a rainy day, many students participated both during the day and the night for Open House.  Way to go Wallaroos!

WALK TO SCHOOL DAY

The Roo Wellness Team would like to invite you to Walk to School Day or Night
on March 8th. This is the night of open house. We would love to see you at
either time, however if you chose to walk to Open house please remember it is
from 6:00 -8:00 p.m and it will be dark outside. Take precautions for your
safety. If you live on the West side of Coit please use the light to cross. For
questions contact Coach McCrary at tammy.mccrary@pisd.edu or Nurse Tammie at Tammie.mccarr@pisd.edu
