Worms and Dirt

Kindergartners at James Williams Elementary explored worms and dirt during Eureka Life Science.  During the experiment, they explored live Red Wiggler worms and their importance as a natural composter.  They discovered the worms prefer eating fruits and vegetables not junk food.  They also made individual worm farms to observe in the classroom.  They released their worms into the nature area at our school after observing them and learning all about the important job that worms provide for our earth.
