S.A.M is a game I designed to show the importance of antioxidants in a diet. In the story, you take the roll of Super Antioxidant Man. His mission is to protect his host, Will, from the evil Free Radical and his agents by using the power of antioxidants. Good luck and enjoy.
Antioxidants are substances that protect your cells from the negative effects Free radicals. Free Radicals are unstable molecules that are created when food is broken down. These molecules are missing an electron and "attach" themselves to your cells to gain said electron.
Eating more fruits and vegetables in your diet will improve your health and better your immune system. Although some foods have more antioxidants than others, any amount is beneficial to your health. Two main antioxidants are Vitamins C and E and can be found in colorful fruits and vegetables- like those in red, blue, purple, and yellow.
