Drug free week activites- October 31st-November 4th
10/31-11/4 BULLETIN BOARD/DOOR CONTEST
10/31 STUDENTS MAY WEAR ORANGE AND BLACK
11/1 THESE PAWS DON'T TOUCH DRUGS
Students are encouraged to bring in cat and dog food donations to be given to the Humane Society.
11/2 TEAM UP AGAINST DRUGS
Students may wear clothing reflecting their favorite sports team (school, college,or pro). Students
are asked to donate knitted hats and gloves (Adult sized only) for Backpacks for the Homeless (Dec
project).
11/3 DON'T LET DRUGS RUIN YOUR DREAMS
Pajama Day-Students are asked to donate throw blankets for Backpacks for the Homeless. (These are
the 50" by 60" thin, fleece blankets).
11/4 TOO SMART FOR DRUGS...I AM A JEANIOUS
This is a Jeans NUT Day (No Uniform Today). Students may wear jeans $1.oo donation.
As the students learned about staying drug free, they participated in many fun and charitable activities. We collected money, hats, gloves, and blankets for our December project "Backpacks for the Homeless". We also delivered a van full of collected animal food to our local Humane Society. On Friday, our middle school students attended an assembly with Joseph Cooks who is an amazing speaker. He teaches the students the importance of staying away from alcohol and drugs.
