Greenprint-Nature Adventure

By:

Nature Adventure

Students will plant spring bulbs in the flowerbeds in front of building.

The purpose of this activity is to educate students about planting seeds to form a family that helps to beautify a landscape.

The faculty and students will be involved in the activity-reading a novel Seedfolks, science classes planting the bulbs, and celebrating in the spring when the bulbs grow.

We will record the activity with photos, before, during, and after the project.  We will also take some video.

We are implementing this through a grant that was written by our librarian.

The planting has already occured, the students are in the process of reading the novel Seedfolks, and in the spring, we will see the results of our labor.
